Who We Are

Indigenous Services Circle

The Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington Children and Youth Services Planning Committee, Indigenous Services Circle is committed to promoting learning, providing consultation and sharing knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit history, traditions and teachings to front line workers and organizational staff assisting local children and youth.

The Committee produced this resource guide for local Indigenous families. Our Circle is always seeking input on keeping resources for families and service providers up-to-date and relevant and to meeting community needs.

Further information about the committee, for reserving our services and or to become a committee member, please contact Kathy Brant at or the CYSPC Office at

Come Walk in My Moccasins is a free monthly e-newsletter to help both parents and professionals better understand, appreciate and include First Nations, Métis and Inuit stories, teachings, language and related activities in children’s daily experiences.

Come Walk in My Moccasins is created with the guidance of Elders and Knowledge Keepers and by the Indigenous Family Literacy Circle – a network of Indigenous and non-Indigenous service providers who work with families with young children.
