School Support Programs (SSP): Connections for Students

About the Protocol

Purpose of the Protocol

To provide support and assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) transitioning from Intensive Behavioural Intervention program (IBI) at Pathways for Children and Youth to full time school or community participation
ASD Consultants provide expert and direct support to transition team, including parents, classroom teacher and principal, beginning six (6) months prior to transition and continuing six (6) months post-discharge from IBI

Client Population or Eligibility Criteria (eg., age; disability)

Children with ASD transitioning from IBI program at Pathways for Children and Youth to full time school or community participation
Parent consent required for service
