Support Not Stigma – inaugural substance use community education and networking event

This full-day event provides the opportunity to learn about substance use-related issues and approaches, network, and build community support to reduce stigma, drug-related harms, and increase wellness among all members of our community. Topics of discussion include:

  • Substance use in Kingston
  • Adverse childhood experience
  • Ecology of consciousness
  • Harm reduction
  • Crystal methamphetamine
  • Trauma informed care
  • Consumption and treatment services site
  • Bereavement
  • Naloxone
  • Challenges and solutions

The event is open to community members, service providers, businesses, and people with lived experience of substance use.
