Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) Luncheon Speaker Event – May 13th

Monday May 13, 11:45 – 1:30 pm speaker series luncheon featuring Dr. Meredith MacKenzie (Street Health) on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

This talk will be about the impacts of ACEs and how we can use this knowledge to transform our community’s approach to dealing with youth to address root causes and break cycles.  This talk is based on the premise that if we can predict it, we can prevent it, so what do we need to do? As part of this, I’m interested in learning about all the local organizations that are using the ACEs approach, and/or that have mentoring programs that people can volunteer with as part of the ‘call to action’ coming out of this event.
